Superbe lampe de table modèle LT302 petit Iceberg du célèbre designer italien Carlo Nason, édition Mazzega , Murano.Italie 1968.
Verre de Murano aux multiples couches de verre et reflets, témoin de la maîtrise technique et ingénieuse de Carlo Nason.Cet effet a été créé par une succession de cerclage de métal intégré au moule en bois.
Souvent d'inspiration naturaliste l'iceberg proposé est le petit modèle à poser.
interview de Carlo Nason sur la création du moule pour l Iceberg:
"The moulds were made of wood and they had a metal section where one part was supported by another. When the glass was blown into the wood it burnt a bit, but it was necessary to have the same circumference for all lamps. So there was always a piece of metal in the wooden mould, to keep them all the same. It was always complicated, in short."
